Mass shootings, as horrible as they are, have become routine enough that start to rate them as being more or less horrible than each other.  Innocent people or children get gunned down, they can't lose their shock value.

I see a lot of talking heads on TV ignoring what really happened in 2016 and predict that our current dontard will get re-elected in 2020.  He didn't even really win in 2016, it was simply a few states that swung the electoral college and no one is going to take them for granted going forward.  Of course elections are a bit hard to predict but he's not wining any popularity contests.

The economy is fine in many ways but the issue of high paying manufacturing jobs going away and unequal distribution of income hasn't gotten better, maybe worse.  A lot of old manufacturing areas are still in recession if not depression and will need to reinvent themselves.

When you consider energy, our dependence on oil and coal is diminishing as people switch to renewable or natural gas.  Oil consumption has recovered some since the recession but is still lower than it was in 2008.  Its not happening fast enough but its starting.

One of the not so secret problems in America is how much racism had worked its way into our culture over the years.  It's certainly better than it was but its why the term politically correct is so onerous, it suppresses these learned behaviors.  The dontard is part of the generation that grew up with all these racist stereotypes and it just seems normal to him.

Its actually ingrained into some of our news reports.  I see a lot of them talking about how "white" people will become a minority in a certain number of years.  Well, as long as we are all Americans, what difference does it make?

Once again we have a democratic congress that has to deal with a tremendous deficit from a republican administration.  Who is the party of big spenders again?

All the ridiculous and never ending investigations and allegations against Hillary Clinton never came up with a single charge.  Interesting.

Once a house of cards starts to crumble it crumbles pretty fast.  Got the National Enquirer and the Doorman involved already.

If you see a lot of rats leaving the ship, it means their feet are getting wet.

The North Korea actions have led to a postponement of talks, sounds a lot like that Nobel Peace Prize is slipping away.

So foreign relations, the climate and trade are all quickly deteriorating.  Need new players.

The Dontard in Ohio continues to blame the minority Democratic party for not supporting him?  Guess he isn't up on the two party system we have.

He wants to stop prosecutors from flipping suspects to get to bigger fish.  Guess he doesn't understand how our criminal justice system works.  He should watch episodes of Law and Order.

I'm sorry to disappoint those who think he has some sort of master plan to accomplish whatever it is he is trying to accomplish.  He doesn't and he just tries to take care of number one.

If you think he had a brilliant strategy to win the election remember he lost the popular vote and was helped by both the FBI and the Russians to win a few key states by the skin of his teeth.  Hillary isn't the best campaigner when you look at it.

The damage he is causing to the environment is actually the worst thing about this period.  The Supreme Court might be almost as bad.

The rest can be fixed pretty easily.

So Hollywood is basically a den of iniquity, who'd of thunk it?

A lot of this is going to be he said she said or more she said he denied sort of stuff.  I'm sure a lot of it happened but I'm not sure anyone can really determine what actually happened.

Well the dotard is in Asia, good chance he might provoke a war.

Republicans are dragging out every silly accusation against Hillary, which, isn't of much concern to anyone really except foxy news and diehard dotardists and second doesn't have the Russian trolls repeating it over and over again.

I don't know if there's much chance the tax cut will pass, something might, they are pretty desperate, but the odds of an average American getting a break are pretty slim.

I think they could easily replace the business tax with a value added tax but that's too complex for this bunch.

There is a simple fact that people need to understand, people pay all the taxes.  Now some of it is charged to business who add it to the prices they charge us, some of it is charged direct or on property but we pay all of it.  That includes all the foreign taxes built into the prices of their products, so if you drive a German auto you are subsidizing the German social programs.

Think we need an investigation into Australian millionaires interfering in American politics.

I was just in Virginia trying to avoid the ads for the gubernatorial race, but it was hard to do.  Some of them are so over the top I can't believe people believe them, but evidence shows that they do.  Sad really.

The political discourse in this country has really deteriorated or maybe its just more noticeable.  Maybe we need better informed voters.

The administration has issued a scientific analysis the attributes climate change to human behavior, although they individually have tried to deny it.  You can't twist science the way you can politics.

Do we get an extra hour of sleep or get back the one they took from us in the Spring?  I've lost track.
